A plea for help.
I received a very heart-warming letter from one of my followers in Nepal.
I became so taken with her writing I felt this needed really special treatment which resulted in the beginning of a project called Project Swarnim. This is the translated version of her letter.
The Speed of Mind.
“It has been a while since midnight. I close my eyes forcefully, attempting to relax my entire body.
However, even after several hours, my mind refuses to cooperate. I’m unsure why memories that should fade away suddenly grow darker. These inexplicable upheavels are disrupting my life, making it feel as if my existance is governed not by breath, but by the haunting memories of him. It appears more inevitable than the breath reaching my heart, the memory of him wandering in my mind.
Through the practice of forgetting, my brain has become so accustomed that the mind recalls it effortlessly, without any prompt, persistently reaching for it. It seems as if my mind has now sworn allegiance elsewhere. These eyes witnessed only one image of him yet the mind conjures countless forms and attaches its own labels. I cannot restrain the mind, nor allow myself to soar freely at the mind’s pace.”
Swarnim.
You may like to read it more than once as each time you do, you will fall more into the intimacy and meaning from her written words. The epitome of all writers.
Now you realise the deep feeling in Swarnim is also being felt in you; isn’t it?
If your answer is “yes” it means you must have had a similar or something similar happen to you in the past for you to notice her feelings. Notice the togetherness along with the feeling of compassion that we all have. The desire to offer comfort and support where we can.
If you would like to view the original letter written in Nepali language along with the translation, click your mouse or tap your finger HERE.
I thought we keep our communications private however Swarnim suggested we open it up to everyone. So we invite you to not only read and learn from the material but to offer comments and importantly ask questions.
From a privacy point of view if you do not want your name published please let me know.
As this project is new to me it is a learning process so I thought to start with, we would keep the discussion separate from the formal piece and I will learn from there.
For you to keep up to date with this, best you become a follower.
Introduction
For me to get my message across to others, it is important for me to write to you from how you see your life as it is for you. If I drift off, let me know through the comments so we stay together and as mentioned earlier, feel free to ask your questions through the comments button.
The process is not fixed and will be determined to a certain degree by the reactions I get from you. At times you may have to be patient.
We are only here once in this particular body and sometimes the Life we are living makes it very hard to be at peace with ourselves and others. We noticed that in Swarnim’s letter didn’t we.
At times Life can be so troublesome and painful we would prefer not to be here.
So what are we missing? Are there really any answers? Why is it that there are so many people in the world like us since so many generations have gone before and we have not learned anything. Why is that?
Guess what! All the answers are already with you.
For you to wake up to the realisation of who you really are, I have developed a Model.
What I mean by that is I have developed my own personal way of delivering information to you that is of my inner being. Our inner beingness is oneness so there is a mutual attraction.
A model is a way of showing things of interest and that Model could be proved wrong. Life models are proved wrong through evolution. If anyone can prove my model wrong I am listening. My model has a degree of backing by modern science. If your model is old fashioned beware.
It is best for us to be as open minded as we can at the outset. If you have beliefs that have been handed down to you its possible they could be a hindrance. Time will tell.
Now is the time! Not for action. It’s time to stand tall to notice a real life. As one.
‘Till next time.
Alan.
