Which food, when you eat it, instantly transports you to childhood?
As children my younger brother used to annoy me no end. I was a very quiet and patient person however one evening sitting at the kitchen table about to commence our home cooked meal of home-grown vegetables my brother sitting opposite me said something which upset me so much I picked up a handful of hot mashed potato and threw it at him. There he was with mashed potato on his head. I was expecting to be in serious trouble but do you know what? my father said nothing. In hindsight he would have been laughing his head off.
Sadly my brother has passed on and what I have learnt from life is that we should learn to find answers from all our experiences not just live life from them. Life is not only about becoming attached to the outcome of stimuli (that’s what happens to you isn’t it?) more importantly it’s about questioning and learning from experiences.
Learning about Self becomes mandatory then from life’s teaching we find that outcomes become secondary. The power is within and from within we create our unique external experiences. Passion comes from the Soul not the thinking mind of the Ego. Passion has Power whereas thinking requires Force.
I’m still living from the Peace within.
