Everything in Nothing

What are you passionate about?

Playing a musical instrument and understanding Life.

I was taught and became a Violinist because I was passionate about music and in particular the sound of the instrument. I had so much passion to express my inner self through music and the Violin, 🎻 and what could be looked at as technicalities like left hand fingering and right hand bowing happened naturally. I used what little intelligence I had to learn what had to be learnt and left everything to complete the exercise of playing to something deep inside me.

Now in my mid eighties I also have a library of books about the Inner Spirit that I have collected over my Lifetime. I now realise that I must also have had a passion to understand the inner self. It’s interesting to see the important points in the books underlined in pencil ✏️

It has become obvious to me that life is a School. Only when we see it as such and we learn lessons from it do we grow. Life is for learning foremost and then we live It. The only way that can happen is to notice our reactions to external stimuli from others then to realise that there is something deep within which is greater and takes precedence.

A journey to Joy which already exists. Nothing needs to be done. it’s difficult if we think that way; it’s easiest when we let go and stop clinging.

Everything in Nothing.
