A life without drugs

Describe one positive change you have made in your life.

I stopped smoking. I smoked cigarettes, a pipe and cigars until about age 30. I started in my early teens.

There were two reasons I stopped; I didn’t want my children to see me smoking and I was told by age 60 I would be in a wheelchair with an oxygen bottle to keep me alive.

Over 50 years have passed since I stopped the habit and now in my mid eighties I am very healthy and if any damage was done to my lungs it has all been repaired as nature intended.

Another very interesting aspect I have noticed is that a natural high experienced by a resting Mind brings more peace, joy and tranquillity than using any drugs. Something else you won’t believe until you experience it is; in a higher dimension the feeling of Presence is better and lasts as long as you wish compared to a heightened sexual experience.

The universal mind has everything in everything and from that, the knowing mind melds from it to provide the world of Matter. Clinging to our outside world places a cover over the inner world of Nature which is our true essence. Each one of us has to notice our own unique pathway to Oneness.
